Optimal Product Development Strategy at Fixed Target Cost
When customer begins to pay more attention to the personal economic affordability as pursuing higher performance products, enterprise must develop new customer-oriented product based on customers affordability. But it is difficult for enterprise to develop new product with fixed target cost at the very start. The transformation of customer requirements into design engineering features by using of HOQ model is presented. And constrained by the design engineering features and the given target cost, the optimal decision making model to support product development and design was also presented. At last, the case application verified its feasibility and validity.
