Five-spoke Design Model of Product Concept
Product-level concept has a positive meaning of developing new products, but the product-level model doesnt explain reasonably upgrading products, and doesnt conduce to develop new product connotation more completely for the designers. Through empirical analysis of the cameras and automotive products, the product concept model is redesigned and the five-spoke design model of product concept is derived using the way of case induction and theory deduction. This model makes scientific and rational explanation for previous products and promotes the development of new products more effectively.
