The paper presents a three-dimensional model on partnership selection, and argues that complementary advantages, synergic strategy, and compatible culture should be taken into consideration. Some evidences from the survey on petroleum & petrochemical firms testify the influences of knowledge resources, strategy adjustment and mutual trust.
