Analysis of the Relationship between the Amount of World Top 500 Enterprises and GDP

This paper try to analyze the relationship between the amount of world top 500 enterprises and GDP. We build linear, cubic and power functions, using correlation analysis and regressive analysis to check these models, find the cube function fits the relationship between the Amount of Fortune Global 500 and GDP well. Calculate the extreme value points and the inflection point of the function, we find that, when GDP reached a certain scale, the amount of Fortune Global 500 will increase quickly as the GDP increase, after the amount of Fortune Global 500 reach its highest value, it will decrease as the GDP increase. The methods can be used in other studies, and the model can predict how many world top 500 enterprises China will have as GDP growing.
