Inspiration of the Successful Experience of the Olympic Forest Park

The Olympic Forest Park regards the axis leading to nature as its planning and design concept which combines the axis carrying the Beijings city history and ancient civilization with the natural landscape perfectly. And that has not only brought fresh breath to Beijing-the millennium old city, but also new nutrients to the field of Chinese scenery and park plan. This article analyzes the inspiration of the successful experience of the Forest Parks planning and design from three aspects: the measures taken by the Olympic Forest Park of protecting and inheriting the city culture context, the inheritance and innovation of traditional ideas of building park, and the implementation and improvement of environmental protection.
