Chinas Development of Low-Carbon Economy: Challenges and Policy Recommendations

摘要：

Chinas development of a low-carbon economy is an inevitable response to the climate change and its economic transformation endeavor. It is also a foundation for building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, and achieving ecological civilization. This paper first stresses the severe challenges China is facing in developing a low carbon economy, and then suggests paths and policies to overcome these challenges and difficulties.
