A Survey on the College English Reform in WUT
This paper reports on six years trial practice of college English teaching reform in Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). With questionnaires taken by 218 students, we find most students prefer the current reformed teaching for the preference for such innovations as the new teaching model and graded teaching as well as advanced English elective courses. The paper ends with the discussion of the merits and demerits of the current reform.
