Treatment Of Oily Wastewater Generated From Steel Production By Supercritical Water Oxidation
Supercritical water oxidation was used for the treatment of oily wastewater generated as a consequence of steel production. Following a reaction at 430℃, a pressure of 40 MPa for 150 seconds, wastewater oil content was reduced to 2 mg/L, equivalent to a 97.7% reduction rate, allowing for the reuse of the wastewater. In addition, the reaction kinetics was determined to be first order with the integral method.
