Do institutions matter for CSR of SMEs ?Comparing CSR of SMEs between developed and developing countries from an institutional perspective
This paper examines corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME) from the institutional perspective. The characters of CSR in SMEs are intended to be explored by comparing the CSR activities implemented by SMEs between developed countries and developing countries. We argue that there is no difference in CSR of SMEs between these two types of countries. This article supplements efforts of CSR to SME and advances the argument that SMEs CSR is affected by institutional conditions to some extent.
