Eco-economic Control Models and Benefit Analysis of Rock Desertification Region in Beipanjiang Karst Vally of Guizhou province
Rock desertified region is difficult for forestations and is the key area for eco-environment treatment. To speed up the comprehensive treatment of rocky desertification, several anti-rock desertification management models were implemented in Dingtan region, located in the right bank of Huajiang Gorge in the Beipanjiang townships. These models, including bamboo leaf prickly ash -marsh gas (model one), amomum villosum -breed pigs -marsh gas (model two), traditional grain and economic crop (corn, penut) -amomum villosum or bamboo leaf prickly ash (model three) and traditional Agricultural Cropsand Wild Tall Bush (model four), were studied over a long period of time. The ecoeconomic effects, potential and shortcomings of the above mentioned models are compared. It is demonstrated that model one and model two are of good economic effect, but model three is of better ecological effect. Finally, some solutions based on the shortcomings of these models were also brought out.
