Research on Optimization of Tender Project Process Based on Theory of Project Management
Invitation of tender, a widely used engineering contracting model, plays an important role in perfecting market mechanism, promoting optimal allocation of resource, improving the comprehensive quality of construction enterprises, ensuring quality, duration and efficiency of the project, and strengthening the construction of clean and honest government. With the economic development in China and the increasingly expansion of construction scale, invitation of tender is playing a more and more important role, especially for the large-scale projects, which is put up to the project level rather than a routine operation. This paper will optimize the tender invitation process on the basis of theory of project management to solve the exsisting problems. Furthermore, by sperating the tender invitation progress into several stages, this paper will use five process groups in project management in each stage and mannage the key factors within them.
