Ecological Security Evaluation of Land Resource Based on Entropy Weight and Set Pair Analysis

Study on land ecological security has become a forefront topic of regional sustainable development. This paper constructed an evaluation index system of land ecological security which included natural, economic and social elements. Considering the illegibility and uncertainty in land ecological security evaluation, the paper combined set pair analysis and entropy method to establish an evaluation model. Then it developed a case study on Hebei Province. The sequence of land ecological security of Hebei Province from 2000 to 2007 is: 2007>2000>2006>2003>2001>2005>2002>2004. Conditions of land ecological security of 2000 and 2007 belong to relatively safe grade and the other six years belong to critically safe grade. The results show that land ecological security conditions of Hebei are not good on the whole and need to be improved. Land ecological security evaluation is of great significance to realize the reasonable utilization of land resource.
