General Practitioner Team Building Based on Human Resource Management
Healthcare system reform is a world-wide puzzle. Until now, no country in the world can claim that its system can both realize equity and efficiency. In the 60s 20th century, a system called general practitioner gatekeeper system (GP system for short) achieved efficiency improvement in primary healthcare area, thus attracting world-wild attention. China is trying to establish GP system in order to relieve the problem of difficulty and high cost of getting medical treatment for people. Using human resource management theory and methods, this paper focuses on how to improve efficiency of Chinese GP system based on review of Norwegian GP management practice.
