Analysis on the Active Factors of The Retail Format Transition in Inner Mongolia
This article gives the empirical data and analysis results of the current situation and developing trend of the Inner Mongolian retail format by analyzing the economic development, consumers behaviors and the competition in retailing, which are three active factors impacting the evolution of the retail format Due to the rapid economic development of Inner Mongolia, a more favorable environment was available for retail formats to be introduced and reformed. Many new retail formats have been provided with favorable conditions to survive. Old traditional retail formats will be replaced by newly ones. The interaction between the difference of consumption behaviors and retail type of operation is increasing. Different levels of consumption call various types of operation to match them; the introduction and creation of retail formats promote the diversification of consumers shopping behavior. Traditional types of operation have appeared a trend as transitional type in competition. Meanwhile, some new retail formats are rapidly developing.
