Research on Temperature Field of Turbogenerators on Hollow Strands Blocked
The stator temperature monitoring is one of important means that diagnose fault of stator cooling system in turbogenerators, so it is necessary to hold the relationship between cooling system fault and temperature field. Thus, on the basis of the fluid mechanics and heat transfer theory, the temperature field model of stator cooling-water in turbogenerator was built. The control equations of the stator 3-D fluid and temperature fields were coupling calculated by using the finite element method. The distribution of the fluid speed and winding temperature was analyzed when the stator hollow strands were blocked on different sites. The results show that the temperature distribution of the stator bar and the difference between the highest and lowest temperature of the stator bar are influenced by different blockage of the stator hollow strands. The paper calculates the stator bar 3D temperature field of a QFSN-220-2 turbogenerator when hollow strands are differently blocked, the results show the model and calculation method are correct
