Modeling of Urban Security Assessment Based on Attribute Recognition Theory A case study on Guangzhou city
With deterioration of ecological environment, study on ecological security assessment has become an important area in geoscience, ecology and ecological economics. This paper constructed an assessment indicator system of urban ecological security. The indicator system included vigor, organization, resilience, maintenance of ecosystem service and human health. Then it established an assessment model of urban ecological security based on the conceptions of attribute recognition theory such as attribute sets, attribute measure, ordered partition class and confidence criterion. The paper used analytic hierarchy process and entropy method to endow indicators weights. Finally the paper assessed security conditions of Guangzhou from 1991 to 2007. The results show that there is a tendency of gradual improvement in ecological security conditions of Guangzhou, which improve from relatively insecure to critically secure grade. Attribute recognition theory is scientific and simple and is widely applied in evaluation and forecasting.
