An Identity-based Signature Scheme with Public Key Recovery

In this paper, a new authentication mechanism is proposed, which reverses the protocol validation process into biometrics recognition to resolve uncertainty in the biometric data under the conditions of the inherent fault-tolerance in a variety of biometric technologies. The new signature scheme presented in this paper is based on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP) and large integer factorization that gives public key recovery. It combines an identity-based signature scheme and a signature scheme based on elliptic curve giving message recovery. Using the challenge-response mechanism, it can resist eavesdropping and replay attacks on the network. Finally, we analyze the security of our presented scheme.
