Development of the Self-Directed Learning Scale for Chinese High School Students
The purpose of the present study was to develop it scale that can be used to measure the Chinese high school students self-directed learning. Exploratory factor analysis provided initial evidence for the single-factor structure of our 6-itetn scale. Further reliability analysis and confirmatory factor analysis showed that both the reliability and construct validity of our scale were excellent. In sum, the present study provided a useful tool for teachers and researchers to measure the Chinese high school students self-directed learning.
