Relation between Language and Culture in English Teaching
The relation between language and culture in English teaching activities has been presented in this paper, indicating that language is the carrier of culture, language and culture promote and influence one another, and culture contains intrinsic rules or conventions directing language use. The specific involvement of culture in English study has also been discussed in different cases. The language features of cultural introduction have been described in detail indicating that the culture introduction in English study and teaching is challenge to English teachers with broad contents.
