A Task Integration Model for Process Operation System Based on Web Services

in recent years, a new distributed computing technology, which proposes the features of crossplatform, language independent, loosely coupled interaction and integration of heterogeneous applications, is becoming an urgent need for process industries with the popularity of internet application. In this paper, a task model is presented for process operation system information integration. A web service technology is applied to task model, and its advanced function and features compared to the traditional distributed integration technology are introduced. A case study of a mini chemical operation platform is used to verify the practicability and validity of proposed task integration model.
