Using Technology-Based Teaching Approaches to Facilitate the Curriculum of Information and Law: STS-TAM Conceptual Framework
Based on the teaching perspective of STS, this study through the development of the conceptual framework of STS-TAM aims to construct a preliminary technology-based teaching environment and method. This study uses students who major in the subject of Information and Law and are studying in the Department of Information Management of one university located in central Taiwan as the research and teaching subjects. The conclusions of this study are that: (1) The STS-TAM framework which focuses on applying technology to electronic teaching environments and constructs an overall assessment model which is applicable as a tool to test on the acceptable degree of a technological learning tool. (2) The constructed technologically based teaching environment which is specifically established for the Curriculum of Information and Law is proven to be applicable at certain degrees through the empirical test of the STS-TAM conceptual framework.
