3D Covalent Bonding Molecular Structure Stimulating Program Using the VSEPR Theory for Undergraduate Students

Current knowledge delivery in education is dynamically changing to more flexible and reliable. Researchers attempt to alternatively present new ways of learning. Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) programs have been introduced in many fields. The 3D Covalent Bonding Molecular Structure Stimulating Program is one of the CAI programs in studying basic molecular structures for undergraduate students. Open source software packages are selected to construct the program in order to support the boundless delivery of knowledge. It simulates most of the covalent bonding molecular structures with dynamic inputs. Experimental tests have been performed to confirm students satisfactory. The experimental tests included 46 undergraduate students and the overall satisfactory result of 82.70%.
