A Searching and Extraction Technology of Non-overlapping Polygons in the Land Use Planning Base Data Processing
In order to implement the strictest farmland protection system and the most severe land conservation system, to ensure data authenticity and accuracy of planning base data, firstly, this study explores the use of ArcGIS technology, of which the land use planning base data can be converted at a district in Ningbo, to compare and calculate the distance between two points, which are each boundary point of each polygon of the Second National Land Resource Investigation and that of the corresponding historical chart spot1 of the land use data in 2005. Secondly, to master the relationship between planning base classification and the quo of land classification(transitional period), to check whether the land type of corresponding polygon is consistent or not. And using the two above-mentioned methods to find out all non-overlapping polygons, then add a status field IP1 in the planning base data layer, in order to implement non-overlapping polygons automatically searching and rapid extraction one by one. This is a very effective way to solve the land use planning base data conversion premise and difficult work, greatly reducing the planning base conversion time.
