Out-ward R&D Internationalization: Necessity in Practice, Trends in Theory and Problems
This article aims to discuss the importance of innovation internationalization for Chinese corporations by reviewing literatures and analyzing main science and technology indicators. First of all, the effectivenesss of introducing wanted techniques by attracting foreign direct investments (FDI) is analyzed, then on the efficiency of introducing and assimilating paradigm. Furthermore, the insufficient supporting factors for state-of-art innovations are also discussed to show the necessity of using international innovation networks. After that, the literatures on outward R&D is introduced and the relative strategies is analyzed. At last, the feasibility of innovation internationalization for Chinese firms are illustrated and the main problems need to investigate in the following research are introduced briefly.
