Countermeasures on the Application of Niche Strategy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Zhejiang Province

In the financial crisis, small and medium-sized enterprises have suffered the impact blow. In the face of rising production costs, the plight of blocked exports, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) should seek the niche market actively in order to cope with the negative effects of export disruption, because the niche strategy is specially designed for the late-enterprise in both the domestic or foreign markets. This paper analyzes the characteristics of SMEs and the environment in Zhejiang Province, and points out that niche strategy is the effective strategic choice for SMEs in Zhejiang Province. Furthermore, it describes the effective measures for niche strategy implementation.
