Venture Capital in China and Comparison with the West

摘要：

The Wests notion of VC has been proven incompatible with Chinas institutional circumstance; inadequate adjustment to local circumstance causes high failure rate of foreign VC corporations, while domestic venture capitalists are still adapting to the rules of the game. This paper aims to describe the nature and features of VC industry in China, compare it with those in western economies, and propose the growth path of VC industry in China.
