On the Operating Pattern and Experience of the SME Credit Collateral System in Developed Countries and Regions
Financing problem is a worldwide problem that restricts the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Building a sound credit collateral system has been proved to be a common practice in many countries to relieve the problem and support the development of small and medium enterprises. Based on the comparative analysis of the credit collateral systems in developed countries, this paper summarizes the experiences of their current systems and proposes several lessons for reference in building our own credit collateral system, including government support, credit collateral institution, effective risk sharing and controlling mechanism and sound law and regulations.
