Genre Perspective on Evidentially

摘要：

Based on the review of the characteristics of previous evidential studies, the paper presents the necessity and urgency of evidential studies at the genre level. The paper holds that genre is among the most important influencing factors in evidential choice. Taking the study of evidentiality in English research articles as a case study, the paper discusses the intimate motivating relationship between evidentiality and genre.
