INCORPORATION CAPTOPRIL INTO BIODEGRADABLE NANOFIBERS BY ELECTROSPINNING

The biodegradable poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA) nanofibers with Captopril loaded were prepared by electrospinning as an alternative to the general tablet of Captopril. The nanofibers have great potential in biomedical applications. Electrospinning is a process that uses a strong electric field to draw a polymer fluid into fine filaments with diameters in the range of nanometers to microns and high surface -to-volume ratio1.
