The dynamic viscoelastic properties of bacterial cellulose
In this paper, the dynamic viscoelastic properties of bacterial cellulose and the effect of moisture on the dynamic viscoelastic properties of bacterial cellulose were studied by dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA). There are six transitions for bacterial cellulose: α1,α21, α22, αH2O, αm, βα from -125℃ to 350℃, and the mechanism of the six transitions were discussed in this paper. Besides, a typical behavior for a polymer plasticized with a low molecular weight material was observed, and the effect of moisture on the dynamic viscoelastic properties of bacterial cellulose was studied.
