An Information Infrastructure for Enterprise Computing Towards The Internet of Things
Recently, the Internet of Things has been increasingly studied widely and deeply. Many researches are pushed on the effective linking between Cyber-space and Physical World, that is, by extending the attennas of Internet and equipping the IP ability for sensors, actuators and smart terminals, these embedding/moving devices are universally managed by the increasingly mature cyber-technologies. After successive linking, the information infrastructure must make proper adaption for new processing requirements, which is neglected in current researches. In this paper, we make information sketch of application in the Internet of Things into three layers: sensor layer, processing layer, mining layer, and present a new design paradigm for information processing layer. The paradigm prudentially tunes five aspects: exchanging data format, data entity design, the method invocation style, the event decoupling and massive data storage. Our paradigm has been successively employed as a basic infrastructure in the monitor system for environment protection in Shanghai.
