Transparent Encryption Techniques Based on File System Filter Driver
File System Filter Driver (FSFD) extends the Windows File System Driver (WFSD) and has far-ranging applications such as virus real-time defense, data backup, and file transparent encryption. This paper researches the file transparent encryption techniques based on FSFD, designs and implements a transparent file encryption system, which deals with the file operation requests by encrypting or decrypting before WFSD responses those file operation requests. The promoted system in the paper can satisfy the data security and secrecy requirements inside an enterprise preferably.
