Crack Flaw Detection and Recognition System of Gas Pipeline Structure
Gas pipeline structures may be subject to pitting corrosion defect during their service life. Among these defections, it is necessary for the crack to evaluate the structures safety reliability. The image acquisition and data processing system of the gas pipeline structure is set up. The theory basis and realization process of features abstraction and recognition on crack defect was discussed in detail. The real length and area of the crack are calculated by applying computer vision technology. The quantification analysis method of crack feature provides an effective way to make safety reliability assessment of the metallic structures. Therefore, it is worthy of study and practicality in the field of gas pipeline safety engineering.
