A Context-aware Information Quality Framework Based on Information Theory
communication technologies have already benefit a lot from information theory, however, research in contextaware information, which is a recently thrilling technology, has not been done in the perspective of information theory, and a detailed theoretical framework to guide the analysis of contextaware information is still lacking. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a context-aware information quality framework to elaborate how information theory makes great impact on improving information quality through the context-aware system. During our research, the architecture of context-aware system is described in details, which contains an important information processing module of information quality framework. Moreover, two meaningful conclusions are drawn through the mathematical derivation of information theory, which supports the efficiency of the framework for improving information quality and the whole performance of contextaware system as well.
