An Improved Ant Colony Optimization for Ship Routing Problem

摘要：

This research applies the ant colony optimization (ACO) to establish an optimal ship route. Using method of ACO, we can not only construct an optimal route automatically, but also we can make some expert consideration for the ants’ searching strategy, which highly improves the efficiency and rationality in ship route selection. This paper proposes an improved ant colony optimization algorithm, which adapts a set of strategies to improve the searching efficiency and optimize the output route.
