The Use of Kiosk Technology in Hospital
This paper explores the possibility of using the concept of a kiosk to automate the hospital information system. The prototype integrating the medical health system with financial services and the HIS system is a patient-oriented self-help information system. The automated teller machine will create a revolutionary and innovative operational procedure for the medical service industry. This new system is expected to shorten the waiting time spent in manual cashier processing and achieve the goal of quality upgrade and lower cost for the medical service industry.
