A New Modulation Method to Eliminate Common Mode Voltages in Modular Multilevel Inverters

摘要：

This paper proposed a new modulation strategy to eliminate common mode voltages in modular multilevel inverters. The main idea of this scheme is to deliver 2 or 3 nearest vectors to the reference vector. The dwell time of each vector is depending on its distance to the reference vector. Finally the voltage distortion (total harmonic distortion) and the linearity of this scheme have been studied.
