A Network Backup System Based On RAID

摘要：

A network backup system (NBS) based on RAID was designed. The gateway was treated as the media. Through device image and device mapping, the disk in the local server was mapped to the gateway. By monitoring the gateway, the data in the local server was sent to the remote backup server. Local server and gateway were based on RAID storage architecture. Using its own image mechanisms of RAID, the data redundancy was enhanced, so the data security was improved as well.
