Parallel Energy Feedback System of Elevator with Harmonic Elimination
A proposed parallel energy feedback system is designed for energy-saving application, to improve the performance of traditional elevator. From research, the VVVF (variable voltage variable frequency) elevators regenerate energy, sometimes. The presented system can send back the regenerated energy to the grid through the parallel three-phase power converters, avoiding waste of the electric energy. Furthermore, the parallel part can act as APF (active power filter) to eliminate the harmonic which is brought by the nonlinear type of loads. The structure is studied in some detail, using the double closed-loop control method to control. The simulation results of the whole system proved that the design is reasonable and can achieve the goal of energy feedback and harmonic elimination, having practical application value.
