Electric Fields Produced by Vertical Time-Harmonic Current Immersed in Blue Water

To research the shaft-rate electric fields distribution produced by ships shaft wheeling, based on Maxwell equations theory, this paper deduced the electric fields formulas produced by vertical timeharmonic current immersed in blue Water with the method of magnetic vector-potential. With numerical method, the distribution of the electric fields and the correlation between the electric fields and the seawater conductance were analyzed. The results showed that the seawater conductance influenced the field intensity obviously. The smaller the seabed conductance, the bigger the electric fields. In the end, the practicalities and validities of this paper were proved through contrasting the calculation results with the experimental data.
