Analyzing and Modeling of Movement Authority Process of GSM-R Based High-Speed Railway
Chinese Train Control System 3 (CTCS-3) is a train control system used on railway lines in China. Movement Authority (MA), assigned to control the running section of the train, is very important to guarantee the safety of the train in the process of running in high speed. Based on the analysis of the process of MA and consideration of the key factors for the success rate of MA extension, the MA process is modeled in this paper by using Markov process. Based on the proposed model, we numerically analyze the effects of the speed of train and the environment of railway on MA extension success rate.
