Research of an Image Compression Algorithm based on EZW
With development and popularization of Modern communication technology and multimedia technology. It need put forward higher requirements for the image storage and transmission.In order to solve this problem, more and more people Committed to the study of image compression. In many image compression techniques, wavelet transform of image compression is undoubtedly the most popular topic. In the wavelet transform of image compression, embedded zero-tree wavelet transform is to be repeatedly mentioned and studied. This article is currently widely used embedded zero-tree wavelet transform to analyze and study. Compared With the traditional image compression algorithm, the results show that the embedded zerotree wavelet image compression algorithm is indeed higher efficient than the traditional image compression algorithms.
