Cost-based Plant Location Decision Model from the View of Entire Supply Chain

摘要：

Plant location decision is important in supply chain design and optimization. Traditional cost-based plant location decision models were mainly from the view of the minimum costs of the plant itself. Now the competitions between companies have changed to the competitions between supply chains. This paper presents a new cost-based location decision model from the view of the entire supply chain. By applying the new model for a plant location decision shows that this model can help deciding the right plant location.
