A Construction of Organizational Commitment Model based on Factor Analysis-the research of college teacher in Jiang Xi
This paper reference to the domestic and foreign scholars similar study, using factor analysis to identify the determinants of organizational commitment of the three dimensions include: normative commitment, continuance commitment and affective commitment. Than we use this model to compare the organizational commitment from gender marital status and age, the statistical results are as follow: the organizational commitment of collage teacher in Jiangxi is at a middle level (Mean=2.9054), Normative commitment and affective commitment are higher than the overall organizational commitment; continuance commitment is lower than the overall organizational commitment. The impact ol gender on overall organizational commitment, normative commitment and affective commitment are not significant different, there are significant differences between male and female on normative commitment, and male teacher are much higher than female teacher on normative commitment. The impact of age on organizational commitment are significant different. The affective commitment of married teachers are much higher than the single teacher.(T=-2.635,sig.=0.009).
