Analyzing the Relationship between College Teachers Instructional Leadership Competencies and Students Cognition in Shanghai
This study aims to investigate teachers and students perception on instructional leadership competencies in the university of Shanghai area. The results indicated that (1) teachers and students reported significant differences in perceiving teachers instructional leadership competencies, and teachers perceive higher than students; (2) teachers in different colleges reported significant differences in self-perception; (3) students with different demographic variables (age, and college) reported significant differences; (4) Students of Science and engineering and male students predicted teachers self-perception significantly. The findings can provide references for improving teaching quality in higher education.
