SIMULATION OF MULTIPLE INTERACTION IN PIEZOELECTRIC SYSTEMS USING PSEUDO-INCIDENT WAVE METHOD
The current paper presents the theoretical study of the dynamic interaction between actuators/cracks in piezoelectric systems subjected to applied electric loads. The steady state dynamic solution of the problem is formulated based on a generalized single actuator model and the pseudo-incident wave method. The interaction between actuators/cracks is studied to determine the dynamic stress distribution near actuators. The effect of the interaction on the dynamic load transfer is then evaluated under different geometric and loading conditions.
