MESO-DAMAGE LEAKAGE MODEL OF FLEXIBLE FILM MATERIAL

The helium leakage models of the flexible film material are established based on the mesoscopic mechanics. Three damage patterns (the surface damage, the inner damage and the perforation damage) in flexible film are analyzed and the leakage mechanisms are discussed. The relationships among the helium leakage rate, the crack density and the crack size of flexible film are given. The leakage characterizations of flexible composites with typical damage patterns are studied in experiment.
