THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON FATIGUE BEHAVIOR OF RC BEAMS REINFORCED WITH FRP

Fatigue behavior tests of RC beams strengthened with CFL(carbon fiber laminate) was done in this paper. A total of 28 experiment specimens are tested in two experimental temperatures(5 ℃ ,80 ℃ ). Base on the test data,a semi-experience formula for the fatigue lives of strengthened beams which thinking about the couple of load and temperature is presented and proved to be value. From the S-N curves, the results show environment temperature influence the fatigue life and fatigue limits. When the temperature increase,the fatigue life and fatigue limit are decrease a little.
