NUMERICAL ANALYSIS ON THE FATIGUE LIFE OF RC BEAMS STRENGTHENED WITH PRESTRESSED CARBON FIBER LAMINATE
One of the key problems of prestressed Carbon Fiber Laminate(CFL) reinfored RC beams is the fatigue life of the beams. In order to research the lives of RC beams with prestressed CFL, ANSYS is used to establish nonlinear finite element nonlinear model of prestressed CFL reinforced RC beam. Based on the model, carry out numerical simulation analysis, the fatigue life of reinforced concrete beams is calculated. By comparing the results of the finite element nonlinear analysis to that of model experiments, the results agree with each other well. Contrast the fatigue life of the RC beams strengthened with CFL and with prestressed CFL, the prestressed CFL could enhance the fatigue life of RC beams significantly. Finally,the effects on the fatigue life caused by the value of the prestressed force on CFL are analyzed.
