On the Chinese Rural Sports Development Under the System Changes
With the method of documentation and experts interviews, the paper makes a research on the Chinese rural sports development under the system changes. The research and study reflect that: only implemented by policies, regulations and other formal system, the modem sports in Chinese rural areas encounter the problem of acclimatization; On the contrary, the informal system is showing a proper value in the development and inheritance course of folk sports. Therefore, basing on the theory of D. North institutional economics, this article discusses and studies the coupling and realization path of formal and informal systems of Chinese rural sports under the construction of new countryside. Finally, a few points are raised: To develop rural sports, it is necessary firstly to detect sports and excavate sports to emphasize on diversification of rural sports-oriented resource development, secondly to activate potential authority and enhance the development and cultivation of rural sports leaders and sports associations self-organizing capacity, and thirdly to stress the system construction and put emphasis on the coordinative and interactive development of rural folk sports and modern sports under the construction of new countryside. In short, the formal system is the exogenous motivation of Chinese rural sports development, and the informal system is the endogenous motivation. Chinese rural sports development is actually a gradual expansion course that polymerization of endogenous and exogenous motivations transfer to an endogenous motivation source.
